Hi, I’m Alexandra!
Managing/Technical Director at Extenly, a company that provides Qt consultancy services, previously: BlackBerry10 OS Cascades app developer, UX Developer at Pelagicore (currently Luxoft), UX Design Technologist at VW, freelance software consultant Qt/QML services. Also author of the QML online course Application and prototype development with QML & Qt5.
I have several years of experience on building award winning Qt/QML medical device prototypes and mobile apps but as well as large scale production automotive projects. During my career path, I have helped major automotive companies to build high quality products and prototypes living and working in countries like Germany, Spain and Ireland.
In my spare time, I managing a concerts promotion company, I’m a bass guitar player, enjoy everything about music, exercising, socializing, building small embedded prototypes, joining conferences, trainings and meet-ups as attendee and as well as presenter.
MY ABILITIES & LANGUAGES
Through my career I have worked on high-stress but as well as on relaxed projects. In some cases I was a solo developer but there have been also cases where we were more than 200 across more than 4 countries in the world. All these years taught me to :
- Manage stressful production situations.
- Work with teams from all around the world.
- Be patient and comprehensive but also ready to make decisions and take actions at the same time.
- Always be explicative and transparent.
