Alexandra joined Pelagicore as one of our first employees in Munich and was as a bright cornerstone of the team throughout our growth phase leading to the acquisition by Luxoft – thank you again for being part of this fantastic ride!
Alexandra really helped us bring to life the idea of “stunning UX on the road” by bridging the gap between designers and developers. From design and concept work to integration and testing in production projects she added unique value in every phase and with every milestone – a perfect combination of substance and style!
I worked with Alexandra in a development project on a Qt-based automotive UI Framework as a project lead and a product owner. Alexandra developed herself very fast to become one of those rare experts in HMI development in Qt Quick, let it be using pure QML with JavaScript, Qt Quick Controls or plug-ins in C++. Alexandra can cover a full spectrum of works from a research on specific topic, writing code, to coordination of a team or visits to a customer. Alexandra also brings a sunshine in the team and in the room where she works. I was sharing a room with her for a long while and will miss her as colleague and as a Qt Quick UI expert. Alexandra is welcome to return any time if her personal circumstances and interests will allow this. Still, my recommendation to everyone: use a chance and welcome Alexandra in your team!
Alexandra is a great developer and has a great experience not only limited to the field of user interface development. It always seemed to me she grows very fast with an astonishing confidence with every new responsibilities she takes on. It was always a pleasure to work with her. She is very professional and a real foundation for the team to count on. It is a privilege to know her. Thanks for being you as you are.
I’ve worked alongside Alexandra for more than three years now. She’s the type of developer you bring on your team when you need solid, disciplined coding practices. She’s very, very, very patient when dropped into chaotic and ambiguous projects, which is a common occurrence in automotive software land. The kinds of projects which typically require learning entire new software stacks, under pressure and insane timelines, in a cross-geo team setup, and still delivering top quality code and ensuring her local counterparts have everything they need to keep the ball rolling.
TLDR; I’m incredibly lucky to have her on the team.
